This is a tutorial for a regency hairstyle that was inspired by Jane Bennet’s hair in the 1995 Pride and Prejudice BBC mini series. Enjoy!
Let’s begin.
Step one ~ Part the front section of your hair beginning from behind your ears to the top of your head on both sides, then tie them out of the way for now.
Step two ~ Tie the back section of your hair in a high pony tail and divide a small section at the top and at the bottom and braid them into four braids. With the larger remaining section tie that into one braid.
Step three ~ Take your front sections of hair and at one section at a time twist them a little and wrap them around your pony tail.
Step four ~ Pin it.
Step five ~ One at a time, take one of your small braids and pin them to the side of your pony tail so it looks a bit like a four petaled flower.
Step six ~ At the tips of the braids pin them so they’re flat to your head
Step seven ~ Wrap your large braid around the top of your braided flower (make sure you tuck the ends in) then pin it.
You’re Done! You now have a lovely style that would surely capture Mr. Bingley’s attention 😉
