This is a tutorial for a beautiful braided headband with a medieval inspired look.
Let’s begin!
Step one ~ Part the front section of your hair beginning from behind your ears to the top of your head on both sides, then tie them out of the way for now.
Step two ~ Take a section of hair from behind your ears on both sides of your head and braid. Finish it off with elastic hair ties (If your hair is longer you could grab two sections from the nape of your neck and braid those).
Step three ~ Pull your braid over the top of your head and pin on the opposite side.
Step four ~ Pin the two braids together.
This is what you should have 🙂
Step five ~ With the front section of your hair twist them a little and take them to the back of your head then pin them just for now.
Step six ~ When you have the two front sections close together slide the hair pins out and tie the two sections with a little elastic band.
This is what you should have 😉
Step seven ~ Curl your remaining hair with a Two-Prong curling iron for a medieval zigzag affect. Replace the elastic band with a pretty hair clip.
Huzzah!! You’re done! All you need now are little pearl hair pins. I hope ye hath enjoyed this tutorial 😀

Oh, this is the best braided headband tutorial I’ve found yet! I never could do it, but I think maybe I can now! Thank you!
